Previously, I was the Director of Design for #include, a non-profit organization at the University of California Davis that helps build websites for local businesses in the Davis and Sacramento area.
As the Director of Design, I’ve learned and improved many skills such as leadership, teamwork, communication, organization, and decision making.
My responsiblities include: leading the design team, creating lesson plans and marketing material, and leading design workshops.

At the start of the school year, I created and lead workshops on wireframing and UI/UX using Figma This was a chance for me to improve my skills as an instructor and leader as I presented workshops for students to follow along and learn how to wireframe their own personal websites.
As a club that builds websites for other non-profit organizations, I’ve met with clients and learned to communicate my ideas in a professional matter. After meeting with our clients, I supervised our design team on concept creation, strategy and user experience.
During our winter quarter, we helped design and build the Davis Night Market's website. I lead our design team in creating the vistual content and layout of the website. I helped create a collaborative environment where students could create and share their design layout iterations and ideas to produce our final design.
